Secret Jar

A surprise cash amount for your jar. The total stays sealed.

Every day or every few days, your choice, Pip the squirrel tells you an amount. You put that cash in a real jar. The total stays sealed until you reach your goal, and then the jar opens.

Made for real life

Short on cash today?

Put in less. Pip spreads the rest over the coming days without telling you.

Can’t this time?

Three freezes a month keep your streak alive. Miss more and nothing is deleted.

Away for a few days?

Mark them. No coins asked, streak on pause, amounts spread over the days after.

Not home right now?

“Remind me at…” and pick a time. Or tap Later on the notification.

Private by design

No account, no bank login, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your phone, encrypted.

Any currency

Amounts are rounded to real bank notes, so you can always put in exactly what Pip asks for.

Pay only if you get there

Secret Jar is free. When a jar reaches its goal, you can take a small one-time amount out of it for the app ($1.99–$5.99 depending on the goal) and unlock unlimited jars, and the full opening ceremony, forever. If you never get there, you never pay.

Questions

Can I see how much is in the jar?

Once a month you get a three-second peek. Hard mode turns even that off.

What if I lose my phone?

Your cash is in your jar, not in the app. Android’s own backup can restore the app data to a new phone.

Is this a bank or investing app?

No. It tracks cash you keep at home. For big amounts, move the cash to a savings account now and then; the jar is for the habit.

iPhone?

Coming after the Android launch.
